About Us
Emma Watson – Director & Consultant
Emma has worked with children and families in a variety of settings for over 13 years. She has worked as a classroom teacher and team leader in schools, both in Australia and overseas, and has extensive experience working with young students from a diverse range of backgrounds. During her career, Emma has worked with a many children with special needs, including learning difficulties, social and emotional challenges and Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as highly-able and gifted young people. She has undertaken post-graduate studies in the areas of psychometric and academic testing and assessment, identifying and assisting ‘at-risk’ youth, developmentally appropriate practice and child social and emotional welfare. In recent years, Emma has supported students’ individual development in the role of Literacy Support Specialist, and has provided targeted learning improvement strategies and support through private and small-group tuition.
Emma is passionate about children’s education and wellbeing, and particularly enjoys helping young people to develop the skills and confidence needed to reach their potential in learning and in life.
